Event is Postponed or Cancelled? Email for Free Templates

This afternoon, I received my first call from a non-profit asking for help with a communications plan after they decided to postpone their non-profit event due to the coronavirus impact.

I’ve used this call to develop a two-page plan with cut/paste templates, which I want to share with you, my friends and fellow fundraisers.

Simply email me, and I will send you an easy-to-use PDF. I do have one favor to ask: If you find the information helpful, please let others know by adding a note to Miracle Strategies Facebook page.

Now is a great time to practice customer service in manageable segments…Call top sponsors before emailing them. Next, call committee members and table hosts before emailing them. Then, email everyone, and share your plan.

Having managed many events, I know how important this revenue is to your organization, and I have good news: Your donors love you. Most will never ask for a refund. All want to hear from you, however.

Email today, and put a clear communication plan in place which highlights the value you place on your supporters, regardless of the circumstances.
